This autuum the University Dance Forum offers 11 different classes in 6 different dances.

- BOOGIE WOOGIE: beginners, advanced and competition&show(c/s)
- SALSA: beginners and advanced
- SWING&ROCK’N'ROLL: beginners and advanced
– LINDY HOP: beginners and advanced
- CONTEMPORARY
- HIP HOP

Courses start September 6th and the first two weeks there is free entrance to all of them.

- The semester only costs 5.000- ISK for University students but 7.000- ISK for non-students. With this you can take part in any and all classes

- You do not need to bring a dance partner and no prior dance training requirerd.

NEW: This semester we are starting the 3rd level in Boogie Woogie,  BW competition&show (C/S). To take part in this level you have to have completed one beginners course and one advanced course in Boogie Woogie. You also need to bring a dance partner to be able to attend these classes, but it does not have to be the same partner in each weekly class. In this level there will be alot of focus on technique as well as complicated figures such as airials.

Tonight, Sunday 29th of August the University Dance Forum is going out to dinner.

We are going to meet up at Solon at 7:00 p.m. and have dinner together. Dancing will start as useual at 8:30 p.m.

There will be a social dance night tonight, Wednesday at Bar 46. Bar 46 is located at Hverfisgata 46. It starts at 9 p.m. and the main focus will be on Swing Jazz music. These dance nights will continue every Wednesday from 9-11:30 p.m. up untill Christmas.
