The spring semester of the University Dance Forum begins on Monday January 15th! The first two weeks are free trial weeks for anyone who wants to come and try out dancing, so we encourage you all to grab the opportunity! We offer dance courses in lindy hop, solo jazz swing&rock’n’roll and west coast swing.
It’s easy to start learning to dance! To come to our dance courses you don’t need to know how to dance, you don’t need to bring a dance partner and you don’t even need to be a University student, for we welcome everyone!
The annual fee is a mere 7,000 ISK for students (10,000 ISK for others). This gives access to all University Dance Forum courses, along with discounts to dances, weekend workshops and other events hosted by us. The semester starts on January 15th and lasts for twelve weeks, or until March 22nd. We are also excited to announce our new friend discount! Those who have been members before can sign up with friends (one or more) and get a 10% discount for themselves and their friends!
Instructors this semester will be:
Lindy hop (beginner and intermediate): Magnús and Ola
Solo Jazz: Kristrún
